Acceptable use & AI content

In shortMake honest videos about products you are allowed to sell. Every AI-made video is labelled as AI-generated, and nothing is posted until it passes the quality check and an approval.

Do not use Adcrevia to make

  • Videos of real people without their consent, or that put words in a real person's mouth.
  • False or misleading claims about price, offers, health benefits or results.
  • Ads for products that are illegal where they are sold, or that platforms prohibit.
  • Content that is hateful, sexual, violent, or that targets children.
  • Material that copies someone else's brand, trademark or copyrighted work without permission.

AI-generated content

  • Videos made here are labelled "AI-generated" and carry an AI tag, as the IT Amendment Rules, 2026 require. Do not remove the label before posting.
  • Presenters and voices are synthetic or used with consent. Custom presenters need written consent from the person shown.
  • You are responsible for the claims your videos make; the quality check helps you check them.

What happens if something breaks these rules

  • The quality check blocks a video that fails a rule, and tells you which one.
  • If a workspace keeps breaking the rules, we may pause posting or the workspace, and we tell you why. You can appeal to the Grievance Officer.
